spring

Spring is blossom time and if you have pruned your patio apple correctly, each year the amount of blossom will increase.

The gorgeous large white blossom with its pink reverse will be a delight in your garden or patio. The more blossoms you have, the more fruit your patio apple will produce.

Therefore it is important to thin these so that as they mature they will not push off the potential crop. Thinning consists of removing the small apples, leaving one per spur which can develop without competition.
